Welcome to NOKO! These Terms of Service ("Terms") cover how you can use the NOKO app ("App"), made by Wonderloom Creations Pvt Ltd, operating as Noko Toys ("we", "us", or "our").

NOKO is a children's audio companion for ages 3 to 12 and beyond. The app is intended to be set up by a parent or guardian, and used by children under their supervision. By using NOKO, you're agreeing to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. What NOKO Is

NOKO offers curated audio content for children, including stories, bedtime stories, rhymes, jokes, lullabies, fun facts, and guided breathing exercises. NOKO is built for screenless listening. The phone becomes a speaker, not a screen.

NOKO also includes an optional live voice-call feature where your child can talk with the NOKO character. NOKO's spoken replies are generated by artificial intelligence (provided by ElevenLabs). NOKO is a fictional character, not a real person, and AI responses may occasionally be inaccurate, unexpected, or off-topic. NOKO is intended for entertainment and is not a substitute for parental guidance, education, or professional advice; we recommend an adult remain reasonably available during use. The call feature depends on third-party services and an internet connection and may be unavailable, interrupted, or changed at any time. Calls consume Noins (see Section 8) at a per-minute rate shown in the app.

2. Who Can Use NOKO

NOKO is meant for children aged 3 to 12 and beyond, with a parent or guardian involved in setup.
Parents or guardians are responsible for setting up the app and giving consent by verifying their phone number.
By verifying, you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian of the child using NOKO, that you are at least 18 years old, and you agree to how we handle information as described in our Privacy Policy.

3. Guest and Verified Access

As a guest:

Anyone can explore NOKO and listen to up to 3 audio tracks without an account.
Guest profiles (just a name and age) are saved on your device only and never sent to our servers.

After verifying:

You get unlimited access to everything in the app.
Please keep your account secure and don't share it with others.

4. Parental Consent and Control

Parents can review, correct, or delete their child's personal information at any time using "Delete Account" in Settings, or by contacting us at support@nokoverse.com.
Parents can withdraw consent at any time. If consent is withdrawn, we will stop collecting data and delete existing information within 30 days.

5. Our Content

All audio, characters, artwork, and other materials in the app belong to (or are licensed by) Noko Toys and are protected by intellectual property laws.
You're welcome to listen to everything in the app for personal, non-commercial enjoyment.
Please don't copy, distribute, modify, or publicly share any of our content.
The NOKO name, character, and branding are trademarks of Noko Toys.

6. Playing Fair

When using NOKO, please don't:

Use the app for anything unlawful
Try to reverse-engineer or tamper with the app
Interfere with how the app works
Use bots or scrapers to access content
Misrepresent who you are or your relationship to a child

7. Availability

We do our best to keep NOKO running smoothly, but sometimes the app may be briefly unavailable for maintenance or updates.
We may update features or content at any time.
We may add new content categories or retire existing ones over time.

8. Purchases

NOKO is free to download and most features are free. The app offers optional in-app purchases of "Noins", a virtual in-app currency used to extend live voice calls with NOKO.

All payments are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. NOKO never sees, handles, or stores your card, bank, or UPI details.
Purchases require both a parental gate inside NOKO and your device's standard Apple/Google payment authentication, so a child cannot buy on their own.
Noins have no real-world monetary value and are not exchangeable for cash.

9. Data Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data directly from the app by going to Settings and tapping "Delete Account."
You can also request deletion by emailing support@nokoverse.com.
Guest data is stored only on your device and is removed when you uninstall the app.

10. No Warranties

The app is provided "as is." While we work hard to make NOKO great, we can't promise it will always be perfect or uninterrupted. We carefully curate all content for age-appropriateness, but parents should always use their own judgement about what's right for their child.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the extent the law allows, Noko Toys isn't liable for any indirect or consequential damages from using the app. Since NOKO is free, our total liability for any claim won't exceed zero.

12. Indemnification

If you violate these Terms or misuse the app, you agree to cover any resulting claims, damages, or expenses that come our way.

13. Stopping Use

You can stop using NOKO anytime by simply uninstalling the app.
We may suspend or remove access if these Terms are violated.
After termination, sections like intellectual property, disclaimers, and liability limits still apply.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. If we make important changes, we'll notify you through the app or our website. Continuing to use NOKO after a change means you accept the new Terms.
